Welcome to TachMinder, a product of Preflight AI LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or usingTachMinder (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Account Registration

3. Description of Service

TachMinder is an AI-powered aircraft maintenance tracking and advisory tool designed for general aviation owner-operators operating under FAA Part 91. The Service helps users track maintenance schedules, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), logbook entries, and related information.

4. Informational Use Only

TachMinder is an informational tool only. It is not a substitute for a certified Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) mechanic or Inspection Authorization (IA) holder.

  • Only certificated mechanics can approve return-to-service.
  • AD data displayed in TachMinder is provided for convenience. Always verify AD applicability and compliance status with the FAA AD database (drs.faa.gov).
  • TachMinder does not certify airworthiness, sign off maintenance, or replace regulatory compliance obligations under 14 CFR Part 91.
  • AI-generated advice is informational and may contain errors. Always consult a qualified aviation professional before making maintenance decisions.

5. Subscription and Payment

TachMinder offers paid subscription plans billed monthly or annually. All plans include a 14-day free trial. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice to active subscribers.

6. User Content and Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into TachMinder (aircraft records, logbook entries, photos, documents). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You are responsible for maintaining your own independent records. TachMinder is a supplemental tool and should not be your sole record-keeping system.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that AD data, maintenance schedules, or AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or current.
